I was born a MEADOWS.
That name has been spelled many different ways through the years.
That name has also been abused, degrated, our history and heirtage changed by people that tend to use the name to promote
ideas to scam people and get their money. They claim there is a Meadors/Meadows fortune that is hidden and they
need help to claim it.
Many know or have heard of the Spindletop Oil gushers.
This
has gone on for many years and it is darn time to stop it. This is where the gangsta gals and guys come in.
We are tired of it. Tired of our name and heirtage being used and abused.
There have been many trying to claim this big oil fortune since at least 1959.
Assosiated
names with this is:
Clark and Profit, Humphries and Pellam, Mary Allen, Wallings, Brenda Weaver, John Howard Meadows, Ann and Rex Helmon. Jewell Robbins, Larry Williams and Shirley Scott, Yahoo Groups. Some of these have
contracts among themselves to share in the big riches.
People have been led into this for many years.
I first heard of it in 1985 from an article that appeared in the Beckley newspapers entitled
"You may
be an heir if your name is Meadows." That was from John Howard Meadows. He strung the people
along having them give him their poa and sold ball caps and vcr tapes and always asking for "donations."
Then he was ordered by a Judge Cobb to quit.
Next came Ann Helmon in 1992. She was going to get
er done. She also had poas from the people.
They held meetings charging 20
to 25 dollars per person. These were held in many states. They sold
cook books, t-shirts , news letters and a bake-yard sale was held for Ann Helmon in WV. I was told
this sale netted her around 5,000 dollars
How long can a scam go on?
As long as there is promises of riches and a big dream and people to dream them.
They use God to try to make it more real. That makes them sound geniuine and sincere.
Poorer people
and elderly fall into this trap and the working people.
Heard more about Jewell Robbins after Ann Helmon.
Never really knew about her until one Tony Tiger aka Anthony R. started touting her soon to be settlement
of the riches.
The Jewell has sold S/A's to half of this country and other countries as well.
She has been and is being investigated by the OFI and the Ky Attorney General as well
as several other states are now investigating her.
Larry Williams and Shirley Scott is another self appointed leader. They claim the wr heirs.
Jewell was taken to court and given 120 days jail sentence for coninuing to sell unregisted s/a's.
She didn't spend the full 120 days.
She is to appear again in court in April of 2009.
There is also a yahoo group leader being yummah el and a tugboat harry an ula and another one. Also
a Rev. Jackson that was mentioned by the wave 3 trouble shooter. It just goes on and on. Like the little bunny
rabbit and the leaders spring up as fast as rabbits.
